SpotBot Cellular — Real-Time Impact and Temperature Monitoring

SpotBot is a connected electronic monitor that transmits impact and temperature data in real time to the SpotSee Cloud over a global cellular network, rather than storing data to download later (like ShockLog). That means a logistics team can find out, while the shipment is still in transit, that the load took an impact above the defined threshold or left the safe temperature range — instead of only discovering it on arrival.

It's especially useful for long, high-value shipments, or ones where there's room to react — for example, rerouting or inspecting a load mid-route if a problem is detected, rather than waiting until final destination. Cellular connectivity works anywhere with network coverage, without relying on local Wi-Fi, and requires an active connectivity plan tied to the device (sold separately, for a contracted period).

It's a more advanced — and more expensive — solution than visual indicators or offline ShockLog recorders, so it makes the most sense for shipments where the value at risk or the need for immediate reaction justifies the extra investment.
