Unlike single-use visual indicators (ShockWatch, WarmMark), ShockLog recorders are reusable electronic dataloggers that continuously log impact and/or temperature throughout the entire journey — not just whether a threshold was crossed, but when, how many times, and how hard. The data is then downloaded to a computer, generating a detailed report of the whole trip.
This line includes models configurable via iButton (individual pucks to start, stop or configure the recorder in the field, without opening the unit), single-use USB recorders with a configurable temperature alarm and automatic PDF reporting, and humidity/pressure/temperature sensors with calibration certificates. It's the right choice when a simple yes/no isn't enough — when you need to know exactly what happened, where, and at what point in the journey.
It's used mainly in long-distance transport and pharmaceutical cold chains, where detailed traceability may be required by quality audits or regulation, not just to settle a one-off claim.
